Engraving, "Execution des Criminels Condamnées par l'Inquisition" (2 folders), circa 18th century
There are two copies of the same image of varying quality, both hand-colored. Both depict a burning on the docks in Lisbon, before a large crowd, at the conclusion of a public auto-de-fe. Only one copy has French text, along with a manuscript note in Dutch. The other may be from a different printer.
Engraving, "Inquisition", circa 17th century
Single folio taken from a French book, with "de l'Europe" apparently as part of the title. The image, identified as "figure CXLIII" and depicting an auto-de-fe, is on p. 315; on the verso (p. 316) is a section of text.
Engraving, "La Sale de L'Inquisition", circa 17th century
Appears to be an image cut from a copy of Charles Dellon's "Relation de L'Inquisition de Goa" or similar, depicting interrogation of a suspect by two inquisitors.
